6th-8th Grade Students
Through Amp’d we want all 6th-8th grade students to have a welcoming, safe and energetic place where they can experience a high energy faith that has a deep impact in their lives.
Amp'd is a time for Middle School students to engage the truth, power, and love of Christ through games, food, music, friends, worship, and interactive Bible teaching.
Our hope is to see students’ personal faith in Jesus take shape, authentic friendships form, and students be challenged to take the next steps in their spiritual growth.
How do students get to Amp'd?
- We provide transportation to the Warehouse from Briarwood Academy and Thomson-McDuffie Middle School. Parents can also drop their students off after 3:30pm.
What is the Wednesday Schedule?
- 3:30-4:15 -- Hang Time is a "structured" free time when students can relax and spend time with friends, playing games such as flag football or ultimate Frisbee, video games, and pool; or they can work on homework. Snacks and soft drinks are available.
- 4:15-4:30 -- Connect Time involving music, videos, and games to help us connect with each other.

4:30-5:00-- Teaching Time using interactive and experiential learning to open up the Bible to students in ways they can relate and apply to their lives.

5:00-5:30 -- Response Time for students to respond to the lesson and to God's leading through worship involving music, prayer, or other creative worship responses.
